The Geo bag is made out of Needlepunch Non woven fabric that is closed from three sides and is open from one side. It is designed to be filled with soil and is installed as marine and hydraulic structures. The Nonwoven Geotextile bag is a geo-synthetic product that is made out of polyester or polypropylene fibres and is used for the protection of coasts shoreline and riverbanks from severe erosion and scouring

Introduction and Description

These geo bags can be customized in different sizes and forms that suits the requirements of design and installation. The bags can ideally be placed on dry land but can also be installed into water of any depth. These geo containers are filled on site with locally available sand. The filling ports of these bags are closed using bag closing M/C and the bags are lifted using lifting harness and spreader beam arrangement. For the erosion prevention on the coastline, these geo bags are placed on the top of the slope.
